Global Community Boards

Kilter Board and The Global Climbing Initiative have partnered to increase access to climbing on a worldwide scale.

Our goal is for emerging climbing communities to gain a tool that can strengthen existing climbers, ignite interest in new climbers, teach valuable skills like routesetting and climbing technique, and increase the connectivity of the global climbing community.

We are currently accepting donations to send a board to the community featured below. All funds donated will go directly to the costs of making and shipping the board abroad.

Malawi

Climb Malawi is an inclusive and locally-led rock climbing facility in Lilongwe, Malawi. Their mission is to build a dynamic and diverse community, uniting people from all socio-economic backgrounds and nationalities through the sport of climbing.

The Global Community Boards Project aims to support the Malawian climbing community with a Kilter Board to invest in the climbing technique and routesetting expertise needed to enter competitions.
