The Philippines holds some of the most pristine limestone in Southeast Asia, and is home to a vibrant community of local climbers. In 2024, The Global Climbing Initiative will be investing in Filipino climbing leaders with the gear, skills training, and mentorship to grow and flourish.

The Global Climbing Initiative equips climbing communities worldwide with the knowledge and resources to thrive. Our Climbing Leadership Fund invests in the future of climbing worldwide by partnering with local climbing organizations and equipping their climbing leaders to build thriving communities.
In January-April 2024, GCI will be supporting climbing communities in the Philippines with the mentorship and trainings to maximize the positive impacts of this sport. As with every one of our CLF projects, the details of our partnership are based on the needs of each unique community. We look forward to sharing the details of our collaboration in the coming months!
